• Fredensgade, Kolding: 129 housing units. Bio work „Living Machine“ Glass House. Gray water is used for plants and raising fish. The Living Machine stands in the middle of a renovated block of apartments. Re-allocation of the block interior. Open-space planning with the plant purification plant and the "bio work." Block internal area auto-free. Interior climate improved, used or recycled materials, separation of removed construction materials. Passive solar energy use by winter gardens, building gap locking with vitreous fillers, roof greenhouses. Water and energy-saving installations in the kitchens and baths. Conversion of the long-distance heat supply to run at low temperatures. Improved thermal insulation, solar collectors on the roofs, photo-voltaic cells on carport roofs in the block interior for later solar vehicles. 50% rain water use in toilet operation. Solar waste water purification. Rain water infiltration on paths. Brook run, ponds and living fences, native planting. Trash separation, bio waste composting. Retention of existing building substance.

13.  „Eulachhof“ Oberwinterthur. The first zero energy  housing development in Switzerland is realized with two five-story structures plus attic as well as four two-story adjoining buildings with room for shops and loft dwellings (altogether 136 apartments for rent) in the Sulzer-Areal. The passive energy balance is reached thanks to the employment of special solar glass, photovoltaic arrays as well as further energetic and structural measures. The construction costs for the dwellings ready for occupancy in the autumn of 2007 amount to approximately 55 million Swiss francs.
